Terms of Service
Last updated: April 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of GeoCam: GPS Location Camera (the “App”), offered by Mad Over Tech (“we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The Service
GeoCam is a mobile camera application that can overlay location-related information (such as map snapshots, address text, coordinates, and timestamps) on your preview and in saved photos or videos, subject to device capabilities and platform rules.
We may release updates that add, change, or remove features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
2. Eligibility and account
The App does not require you to create an account. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with laws and regulations that apply to you and to your organization, if any.
3. License to use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on a device you own or control, in line with the usage rules of the store from which you obtained the App (for example, the Apple App Store).
You may not: copy the App except as allowed by law; reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where prohibited restrictions cannot be enforced; rent, lease, or sell access to the App; or use the App to build a competing product or to violate anyone’s rights.
4. Your content
Photos, videos, and other materials you capture or save with the App are yours. You grant us no ownership rights in that content. You are responsible for what you capture, how you share it, and for obtaining any consent or permissions required where you operate.
We do not claim to host your media on our servers as part of normal App operation. See our Privacy Policy for how information is handled.
5. Location, maps, and third-party services
The App may rely on device location services, mapping providers, geocoding, advertising networks (such as Google AdMob), analytics, or other third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Your use of the App may be subject to additional third-party terms required by your device or platform.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to interfere with its security, overburden our systems, or use it in a way that is unlawful, harassing, or harmful. We may suspend or stop providing the App where we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms or a legal or security risk.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Location, map, and address information may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. The App is not a substitute for professional surveying, legal proof, or safety-critical decisions unless you independently verify results.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mad Over Tech and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50), if you paid nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
9. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Mad Over Tech and its affiliates against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent allowed by applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may cease offering the App or limit access where reasonably necessary for legal, security, or operational reasons.
12. General
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede prior understandings on this subject.
Unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in the place where Mad Over Tech is established may have jurisdiction over disputes, unless a consumer protection law in your country gives you a right to sue where you live.
